I like both of them. I do think the first looks better, as well. In my opinion, it looks better without scan lines. But both look very good by themselves.

They're both good but I think v1 is a much stronger signature. The scan lines just don't work well with this signature. Not much to improve on, maybe try a few different fonts for your text. |

I don't really like #1 and I can't see #2. #1, the render looks plonked onto a background and appears to have had no attempts to blend it in at all. Sorry. |

I tried blending it in  The background is a bit weird, I admit, and the render doesn't blend in at all. I'm gonna try to blend it in. |

I think I have to agree with Kenny with this one. The background isn't really doing it for me. But it's not so much the background as the blending with it. I would try a few more blending options. I finds its more helpful to just look at a few tuts for other sigs, take ideas from them and then blend the ones that work will together and work well with the sig and that normally works.
