So I made a full size bass completely out of recycled objects. ![]() And this is just a close up of the bridge and strings. ![]() The objects include: Cardboard Newspaper Scraps of wood Wire Circuit Board Scrap Metal Old Bay Tin Soda Cans Yoohoo Bottle tops Old Pencils I'm entering it in a competition in November. I really hope I win but if I don't it's not the end of the world; I enjoyed making it. Here's a link to the competition I'm entering it in if anyone's interested. http://www.mde.state.md.us/ResearchCent ... /vol3no5/contest.asp This is from two years ago I think. |

Very nice ![]() I don't know if you did it intentionally, but alot of the body has comics on it. Reminds me of those umbrellas alot of newspaper companies give away that have comics all over them. The only problem is that the strings don't look very taut. Other than that, very nice! |

Thank you ![]() It took about a month to make. I was outside a lot during the summer working on it and it was hot! (But definitely worth it.) Yeah I know the strings are loose but that's the tightest I can get them. It seems strange, but I pulled them as tight as I could and then hot glued them but it's not good enough. And yes, I did do the comics on purpose. I thought it'd make it more interesting and colorful rather than the black and white. |
