The eye's original color was blue, and brown near the pupil.

I'm definitely not the one to give C&C, but it looks good to me. I'm not sure what it takes to change the colour of something, but it looks like you did a really good job. Oh wait... you uploaded to Imageshack. Nvm it sucks. |

Changing the color of something isn't to difficult, but it's good for a first. Try adding multiple colors, or variations in a color to give it warmth and depth. Make it look...alive. You know? |

I think it's great for a first time. Check out Veggie Eater's blog and try to make it like the one on there. As far as getting rid of that bottom section, whenever you upload it on imageshack click the "+" next to "Links for advanced sharing" or something. The URL that's revealed is the one you want to put in your IMG tags.

I know how to take off the bottom section, sorry if it annoyed you. I was in a rush, and decided to come back and fix it. Turns out that I forgot. And every time that I use the real URL without hte [IMG] signs around it, it doesn't show the image, so I thought I might as well just put up the image URL that Imageshack gives you. I didn't realize it annoys people, so I'll go and fix that now. |
