Well, second actually. Although this is my first intentional one ![]() Version 1: ![]() Version 2: ![]() Version 3: ![]() Version 4: ![]() Version 5: ![]() Original Stock For a first, I think it turned out well. I intened for it to have a grainy/blurry look with slight sharpness in some areas. Also, aswell, this is my first attempt at using a C4D, which I also think I did quite well ![]() C n' C is highy apprciated! Edit: Added rain, see what you guys think. ![]() |

I really like version one. You said you added rain? Is that what that is in version two? If so, for me at least, the rain effect doesn't appeal to me. Otherwise for c/n/c, I don't have much, it looks really good to me. |

Well, it's really really saturated (color levels are really high). Extreme saturation in a sig can lead to "strain" when you look at it and makes it kind of painful to look at. I don't mean that to be hurtful at all! It's just that the eye is trying to focus on certain colors and to many are popping out at it so your eyes get confused and, well, hurt. I don't know. That, along with the 'blurriness' of the background images make it kinda confusing for me. It's okay, but with a few good filters and some brushwork that could be a really really good sig. Mess around with it some more and see if you can figure something out. The best way to learn at making sigs is to sometimes just...do things with no real intention behind it. |

Thanks for the comments guys ![]() I'll work on that rain, make it look better ![]() And I'll mess around with a few more filters, although thats how I came up with version 3 ![]() ![]() Relly didn't change much in this, except the fact that I removed and replaced the C4D. In the first 2 I deleted the C4D parts that over the render, then I found this brilliant thing called multiply ![]() ![]() Edit: Now that I compare them side to side, they dont look to much different. I decided that I like version 3 better now ![]() |

Alrighty, version 4. ![]() Yayz for Poster edges! I'm not to sure about this one. Stock kinda seems boring, but I fixed the rain! ![]() Edit: Last version, I think. ![]() Didn't like the blurryness, made it sharper, new border style (Old one didn't work to well, doesn't go good with white) and a little less saturated. So, done. I think xD |

I say this to a lot of people who do manipulations on Deviantart: do more to it. A lot of what I'm seeing here are saturation/contrast changes with scanlines or some overlay of rain. Add explosions. Body parts, even. Change the whole colour scheme. Do something crazy. |
