I am going to make a 3D runescape picture for the "Runescape picture" contest, I decided it would be christmas themed this is going to be difficult so I will have to work hard :x :cry: hopefully I will finish before its due :(

Note:changed my mind I'm gonna make a lifeless scene(just plants and stuff) and maybe add my rs character in.

I sort of just dropped the death thing cause it was getting too hard.

They're not bad! You got the shape right and that's a pretty important step. The only problem I see is that there really isn't any texture. Maybe you could find a way to add wood texture to the trunk and a leaf texture to the tree leaves? It'd be awesome then, but good work!

thats exactly what I'm doing working on now, I got rid of that reflection and I looked round for leaf and bark texture.

Finished trees now I'm gonna work on rocks or something

Finished rocks gonna work on canoe station and then the terrain.

Trust Alex, he knows what to do. I've seen a lot of his animations and i can tell he has taken a long time to make them.

The trees now look like the kind game developers used in games from the 90's. The leaf texture is way too pixely and there aren't enough polygons.

Unless, however, you intended it to be that way, then it looks "RuneScape-ish."

Great job on updating the tree! The texture on the trunk looks excellent. Maybe you can find a higher resolution picture of leaves though. That'll make the tree look a LOT more realistic. Good job on the rocks too. I really like how this is turning out and I hope you don't abandon this project, I'm excited to see the end result.

Huge drawback at the moment, the screen to the pc where all my 3d stuff is broken, getting new one on christmas.
