How do you do this effect on signatures???

^I am going to start making my own signatures, now that I figured out how to do them. I may get my old signatures shop up and running... anyways, how do I get the gleam effect as shown in my Zamorak signature?

To put it simply...

Make a new layer, use the epiliptical selection tool to select a rounded area at the top of your canva. Fill it in white then mess with the opacity.

It's easier to just put the layer to soft light instead of messing around with opacities IMHO, but the last gives more choice that's true.
