This one doesn't sit right with me. Why, around the two people, is the image distorted? The ground looks very strange. It is fuzzyish if you know what I mean. This is good for a first one though, better then I could do in a million years atleast.

Aaah! Rule of thumb: only save photos as jpegs. This would have been best saved as a gif or png. You spent a lot of time on the characters, but too little time on the background! Take your time. Things come out a lot better when you're patient with pixel art.

Rule of thumb: save nothing as a jpeg. Unless you're using Photoshop to save it and have set the quality at 12. But that means absolutely no compression whatsoever.

Nice blending, but I dont like the style. Some people have a good style and do horrible shading, some people have a style that isnt too good, but brilliant shading; some people just make plain awful pixel sigs, and then very rarely, there's good shading and good style. I know someone who does this, and there are about three people on the tip.it forums who do, but it really is very rare.

Im afraid you have good shading and a not so good style. Sorry.

The people just dont look very convincing. They look like a small child drew them, rather than a professional cartoonist. I appreciate you spent ages on the shading, but the sig overall doesnt look very good.

And the tree looks awful. Sorry. It just does.

Im going to give you 5/10. Work on your style and it could shoot up to 8. Then all you need to do is make something happen! Kick out the boring sky background and make a wilderness castle.

Saving photos as JPEG is just fine, perhaps PNG would be sufficient also but.. JPEG has lower file size and more compatibility.
