The text is a little hard to read. Its pretty good for the first try though. I can tell you used the pattern overlay in photoshop. :P

lol it took me like half an hour to figure out what you had in your background. Its a picture from God of War.

And not bad for a first one. Just like Wazard said the text is hard to see. Maybe add some outter glow, that helps if you dont want to change the color of he text.
