Lower the opacity of the "shine" a bit more, to about 45-50%, and change the font to a pixel font, such as Visiter, and put on a 1px stoke.

You can DL visiter at: http://www.dafont.com

when i use gimp to write text it says visitor is invalid

When you install visiter you get 3 different fonts: Visiter BRK1, Visiter BRK2 and some other one.

You want to use BRK1.

Hope that helps.

I don't know which version of photoshop you're using, but if you're using photoshop elements, I don't think you can do blending options.

And when you click on that, it shows:

I have adobe elements 3 at school, you might still be able to do it. Look for layer styles or something, there might be something similar, you never know.

Of course, you could also just get the pencil tool, set it to 1px black, make a new layer above the others and draw black around it, that'd look exactly the same.

Unfortunately for GIMP, there is no "New Adjustment Layer"

Maybe there is but in different wording. If anyone uses GIMP what would "New Adjustment Layer" be worded?

What is it suppose to do? To my knowledge there is nothing called that in The GIMP.

I looked on krusk's tutorial and it seems that curves and colour balance are both under tools-->colour tools. I dunno if that applies for the others though. Ty krusk XD
