Post subject:  The Owner's Drop Party
6 years ago Mike and I held what was most likely RSBandB's first drop party. We're doing that again, this Saturday. This is something we've always wanted to do again but were limited by the trade restrictions. With the trade restrictions set aside we figured this coming long weekend would be a great time to do it.

When: Saturday April 23, 2011 at 2pm MDT [1pm PDT, 3pm CDT, 4pm EDT, 8pm UTC, 9pm BST]
Where: South-west of Castle wars, World 132.
What to Bring: Nothing!

Donations are not required. We have already set aside at least 22m worth of items and funds for this drop party. If you really really really, want to donate you can send Mike or myself a message to arrange a meetup.

If the location is near a bank, I'll gladly donate my 3000 unnoted cooked tuna.

If I can make it, I'll probably at least double my money. Especially if you drop a shrimp and I get it.

If anyone has any suggestions for some items we could spend our money on to drop, you could post them. Unfortunately we can't afford to drop easter eggs again like our party in 2005, but the total worth we will be spending is quite decent I think. :P

The location will be south-west of castle wars. I've added a map to the the first post with the area highlighted.

I've also gotten the items together that I am going to drop. I've decided to mostly go with wearable items because no matter what we drop, most of them will be sold right after the party. Unlike old times before the grand exchange, almost every item can easily be sold again on the G.E. so why not make them a little fun and ridiculous looking if some people wore them in the mean time at the party. :P

Trekkie's donation is also within the picture. With the donations we've gotten from Trekkie and Jer, we are now up to at least 35 million gp worth being dropped!

I'm sure Shane will post his items later today. It sounded like he wanted to do more useful items, so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a few farming items in there :P

Nice drops! and I'll be looking forwards to Shane's drops. Hopefully theres some herbs to help my Extremes goal! and also you might want to remind people not to bring Tele-Grab, unless you guys are allowing it

There is no way we can kick people out who disobey a rule blocking tele-grab, so it will be allowed if you desire. We don't encourage the use of it, but if we denied it, there could possibly be some dishonest people there who like to break rules and they would have an advantage.

Dunno if I just suck at it but tele-grab seems to put you at a disadvantage anyways. Unless I guess the item is way far away from anyone.

Tele grab will only get the item if the spell reaches the item before any other player gets near it. Since Telegrab takes awhile to cast and to move it's usually a waste of a law rune since it rarely gets the item.
