Post subject:  January Events: The Dancin' Royal Family Funded by Guthix
Here are our events for January. They've got a bit of a different spin to them ;)

Event 1:
Jan 23, 2009: Line Dancing @ Vinesweeper World 132
Time: 7PM RSBandB Time/MST (6PM PST, 8PM CST, 9PM EST, 2AM GMT (next day)
Description: We will start off the night by performing some Vinesweeper Line Dancing. Cameras will also be there, so come dressed in your best ;) After we take care of the footage needed for Warren's country line dancing video we will attempt to cover as much of the field as possible and get points.

Event 2:
Jan 24, 2009: Chess Tournament Server 2 (FunOrb)
Time: 7PM RSBandB Time/MST (6PM PST, 8PM CST, 9PM EST, 2AM GMT (next day)
Description: Show up in the lobby and follow EC instructions on how to join. We will specify the rule set before the event starts.

Event 3:
Jan 31, 2009: Fist of Guthix World 154
Time: 2PM RSBandB Time/MST (1PM PST, 3PM CST, 4PM EST, 9PM GMT)
Description: Standard Fist of Guthix. Depending on how many show we may just do games with us, if enough people come we will go into a public match.

Event 4:
Feb 1, 2009: Half Life 2 Deathmatch
Time: 2PM RSBandB Time/MST (1PM PST, 3PM CST, 4PM EST, 9PM GMT)
Description: It's the favourite game, Half Life 2 Deathmatch. We'll be using our RSBandB server (search for rsbandb.com in steam client and add to favourites OR join 209.160.65.34:27016). Do not worry if you don't have the game! You can get it for free. If you have an NVIDIA based graphics card go here, if you have ATI go here. If you have an integrated graphics card you are out of luck :( You could still buy the game if you are interested in playing at future events or on your own.
*PFK EDIT* You can go on ANY computer that has an ATI or NVIDIA card while on your own Steam account, and unlock the game. You do not need to own one in this sense, so find someone, ANYONE with an NVIDIA or ATI graphics card before Feb 1st :)

Event 5:
Jan 24, 2009: Call of Duty World at War (Xbox 360)
Time: 2PM RSBandB Time/MST (1PM PST, 3PM CST, 4PM EST, 9PM GMT)
Description: Please add DeathByThinking as he will be running this event. The event will proceed in a private party if there are enough people for a full game. Otherwise, we will go into standard Team Deathmatch or some area. This event is open to RSBandB members only!

I'll try to be at the chess, and FOG event. I WILL be at the Call of Duty event 100%. Great line-up. Good job.

I will definitely be at 4 as I just installed deathmatch.

If I buy the Orange box any time soon then I'll be to the Half-Life 2 event, Should be to the rest Runescape ones, no xbox 360 ones for me yet.

I will probably only go to the Fist of Guthix event, as it is basically the one I can go to. Nice events though. =D>

PS: Why is event 5 on January 24th and event 4 later on February 1st? Just wondering. :wink:
