Hello everyone!!
Andrew aka chaoticpsycho here, and I'm inviting you all to Potatoreaper's birthday bash!! one year ago sometime between the 20th and the 23rd of February, i was turned on to Rune Scape and found a place in my life for the game. now I'm ready to party hardy!! $\:D/$ there'll be fighting competitions, self developed mini games and party games, a minor drop party hosted my yours truly, and lots of all around fun!!!

here are the details as far as times, places, and requirements go:

time: Friday February 23rd, 3:30 P.M. gmt-8 (conversions below)I chose the Friday thinking perhaps with a weekend ahead people might be able to stay up later to participate, mainly with people in Europe in mind. I'm sorry it is so late for some people, but I get out of school at 2:20 and don't get home till 3:00. by 3:15 I'll be on and get to my house to greet early guests.
place: members world 115 at my P.O.H in Yanille.
requirements: to participate in my Rune Scape race, you must meet these minimum requirements. you can still attend the party without these requirements, but this game gives a decent reward

........skills: 50 mining, high agility recommended.
........items: pickaxe and climbing boots are required, food and weapon recommended.

time zones: take my time zone (gmt -8 ) and move the time forward or backward a number of hours equal to the number of zones away your zone is. i.e., if you lived in great Britain, your time would be + 8 compared to my time zone. thus, add 8 to 3:30 and you get 11:30pm.

Rune Scape race explanation: this game is something i have always wanted to do, but I have never been able to gather enough competitors to make it worthwhile. the game is put simply, a race all around Rune Scape. the race starts in Sophanem (hence icthlarin's little helper) and ends behind the ice queen's throne under white wolf mountain (hence the mining requirements). i won't post the course until the day before my party, but the course does involve going deep into the level 50+ wilderness, and crossing the rocks that lead between the fremmenik province and burthorpe (hence the climbing boots and death plateau). the course is actually pretty easy to guess from that information... like i said, more info about this closer to the actual event. keep in mind, there will be no teleporting allowed. no runes, no teletabs, no teleport objects, no trees or gliders or anything. i cant really enforce this too well, so its mostly on the honor system. please be respectful. I'll have fighting arenas, games rooms, a few custom games, and and fun and stuff. keep in mind I'm not by any means rich and have limited resources with which to get my construction up in time... ON THAT NOTE: if ANYONE would like to DONATE any materials to my party or to me to help make it easier on me, it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. I will be posting again later with a list of other events i have thought up/would like to do, so please keep your eyes on this topic. there may be important changes made anytime between now and the day of the party. it is my strongest recommendation, that you check this topic both the day before (February 22nd) and the day of (February 23rd) the party a half hour before it starts for last minute updates. thats all for now. please, everyone who can come, come. I'd really appreciate the support from my pals here at RSBANDB. and now, i have to go prepare for the party by upgrading my house. 10 levels and the entire floreplan left to build... Probably would be better if the race was instead more of a run which everyone staying grouped together and the goal being to not lose anyone as you make your way around Runescape getting other people to join and ultimately ending up with a large force of people which you can party all night with. Knowing Runescape players and the honor system, I wish you the best of luck otherwise.

thanks for the concern, but i have some anti cheating methods set up to ensure no foul play. I have a referee to make sure you all take the right path (stands at places you must pass through to have taken the correct route and checks your name when you trade him.) Im in the race with you (I'm not just going to LET you have my reward, ) Im passing a special requirement: you must fill every spare slot in your inventory with empty vials (it allows me to accurately check your inventory for teleport runes or objects, but it also deals with your reward as well. $\:D/$ ) as an announcement, player killing your opponents is allowed, and is encouraged, so bring your weapon of choice with you, but be warned i wont replace any lost items if you die or are killed in the race. dont com like this , or you may end up like this: Edit: there IS a reward, but it IS NOT something worth ruining your day over if you don't win. its just some insentive for players to race skillfully and strategically. anyway, i dont mean to make the race the center theme of the party. there is plenty of other fun things to do. as i said earlier, i will post them later this week.

I can't say for sure if I will be able to be there or not, but is a really neat idea! I hope you get some participants. Please post about the turn out. I think the idea of a race is very cool.
