Attack...attack...attack (stabby...stab....stabby)
Well my first sign up for this SOTM. Has been hilarious. On 1st July my internet broke so I helplessly watched as other members faded way into the distance and left me at zero until mid July.

Having decided that I would still have a go despite being the lowest total xp because I just wanna improve my melee I started it :) half a month behind everyone else and decided to do relaxed SOTM. This consisted of dungeoneering, barrows and lava lamps. Has been fun but would be nice for other members to have a go and not be disheartened by the top players. How's about looking for daft posts about unusual ways of training without grinding - the most unique quirky ways of getting onto the SOTM board. Sadly despite my efforts I didn't even get a mention on the podcast ;)

Also my xp doesn't seem to be increasing in line with what I seem to have earned :( I'm not worried about this and am grateful for the 2 lvls I've gained so far. Would be interesting to find out the timing and how the figures are updated.

Maybe will try the next SOTM and try bizarre training methods. Has been fun. Thank you.

The xp updates every day at midnight UTC-6. It looks as though you entered "Aletheia259" as the RuneScape name. It looks as though the XP rates are up to date as of right now.

What RuneScape name did you earn the levels on?

If you changed your name in the middle of the competition, then any XP gains you have made since the name change will not be tracked.

Been doing a bit more attack training and still stuck at the 8k mark in SKOTM. I've never changed my name in 10 years, always been Aletheia259. I have changed my password I think, but that shouldn't affect the calculations? By my calculations I should be showing 135,584 xp gained since mid-month rather than the 8k I'm stuck at!

I'm guessing I've been sabotaged, as I'm such a threat to the main leaders!!! (...joke :))

I'm really not worried about it ....will try again next SKOTM.

This skill of the month is Strength, not Attack. You could just be training the wrong skill.

lololol thanks for solving that one for me!!! That is absolutely hilarious. Well at least I'm progressing with my attack levels :)

Next month I will try again and train divination instead of farming :) Joke.
