Don't they just look revolting -- how long has it been now since RuneScape HD was released?
I've designed some new stat sig backgrounds with a fancy new layout that I am itching to release to you guys, but I would love to also give some of these existing stat signatures a fresh new look while I'm at it. I only have a very small number of my own skill capes as you know, though, so if you would like to see yourself (or someone else?) in a stat sig, now is your chance to submit your character images! I'd also like to be able to provide some more alternative designs with different layout options, such as fonts both for names and skill text; if you're a keen designer, or just have a particular favourite font you'd like to see on a signature, please help me out in that department too.
You do not need to cut out your character image (unless you want to be really helpful <3); I can handle that, but please make sure that you capture it in HD with anti-aliasing set to 4x, and save your image as a PNG. Cropping helps too (just don't cut anything off!!), as my internet still sucks. It doesn't have to be a skill cape emote; in fact, it can be anything you like that would look fantastic on a signature; it could even be just your regular idle position, but wearing your favourite attire.
Fonts should also be distributed under a free license, if at all possible. If you get your fonts from a place like http://www.dafont.com or http://www.fontsquirrel.com (especially the latter... I love Font Squirrel) you usually won't have to worry about that.
There is no limit to how much stuff you send me. I'll try to use as much of what I am sent as possible.
You may also see your contributions added to the existing competition signatures, and whatever I don't use for stat signatures could potentially be used in future (so by submitting character images you acknowledge that you are comfortable with that).
