i think it would be great if you could install a theme for iphone users like this.... ![]() atm its the full site on the small screen would be great to post on the forum from my phone easier i think it would be good also because the iphone is a popular phone meaning ppl will most more because its alot easier to do so ![]() Quote: Even if you don't have an iPhone or iPod touch, millions of potential users of your site do. In fact, 40% of mobile web usage is from these devices - and this number is growing. This theme will make it much easier for these users to browse your forum... and best of all – its completely free. The plugin provided will switch your site to use ths theme into action whenever a user one one of these devices accesses your site. It's completely transparent and doesn't affect any other users. You're also free to modify this theme however you wish for your own use (e.g., by adding mobile ads, etc.) http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?P=4fdb10fdc434bca4b7b49ce3b093c50c&topic=298258.0 |

Right now it's not much of a priority. Out of all the visits iOS hits account for ~1% of total views. We don't have the resources to develop a separate iPhone/iPod specific theme. Also we don't use SMF so that plugin wouldn't work even if we wanted to. Thus we'd have to design a new theme from scratch. |

There's an app for Android called Tapatalk. It enables phpbb forum admins to enable it as a plug-in or something like that. Completely free for the admins, but not free for the poster, how crazy is that? ![]() |
