Hello RSBANDB, I've been pretty much inactive lately, although, since the activity seemed to came back with April Fools Troll, I decided to restart posting more and I came up with a SUPER COOL GIGA AWESOME IDEA! Warning Removal System As you might know, I'm on the edge of getting banned because I was a jerk before. I'm fine with the punishment and I accept it. My only rant would be the fact that someone could be a morron, get 4 warnings, learn for his mistakes, stay cool for 3 years, and get banned because he had a bad day. I don't think it's very fair. Yes I understand this is because he had 5 warning, but I think it's sad to have these officials follow you forever. And having to verify every post of yours before posting them in case you might post something offensive is a pain. (speaking of experience) My suggestion would be to remove ONE warning every year of good behavior. This way, you have less warnings, but you still have to watch yourself because you still have a fews. But at least, you don't stay at 4 permenantly. Awesome huh? Tell me what you think ![]() PS: I WANNA KEEP MY APRIL FOOLS RANK FOREVER! I DESERVE AN HONORABLE RANK! |

I believe there is already a system where the admins can remove warnings for good behaviour - but I'm not positive on how exactly it works. |

There's nothing officially written down but we will discuss it and report back. |

I don't know much about phpBB but on most forum systems there is a module to do that. Edit: Keeping the April Fooled rank would confuse new members, and knowing the rank is discontinued it would make newer members feel left out and makes one less goal they can make. ![]() |

You can also creatively add the rank in as part of your avatar. |

What is this, socialism? I am against this. Anyone with warnings has them for a reason. People do not change. And the more you change, the more you stay the same. I think there should be no more warnings. One strike, you're out. |

I think that as people, we are capable of change. By that same token, people can forgive as well. I think that if the situation arises where good behavior is noticed, action would be taken in the right way. |

I've been asking for this for years. It just needs to be handled intelligently. I.E remove all my warnings cause at least 1 was from shane and was biased. I want Mike to look into that one and overrule it. The others (no idea how many i have i forgot) are also for nonesense cause i don't remmeber them. But then someone like robbie deserves to stay on probation and keep his warnings till he shows change. |

I think the forum rules are relaxed enough, so earning yourself an official warning is actually not easy to do. Getting multiple is ridiculous. I'd support this idea if the rules were a lot more stringent, but they're not. They're firm and fair and allow plenty of room both personality and the discretion of moderators. |

I thought the same as you in my early days here. Talk to me when you'll have four warnings. Specially when you were a doushebag before and you've learned now. Punishement due a good thing, But sometimes, someone is getting punished way too much for stuff he did in the past. |

I think the suggestion is a good one, even Jagex has something similar, where your marks are removed after a certain period of time. |

After a long discussion with the mods, this has been implemented and added into the Forum Rules. You can check out the wording there. This will let you get warnings removed if we determine you have improved, but it should not be an excuse for breaking rules more often. You should not have to "verify every post of yours before posting them in case you might post something offensive". It's not that hard to be respectful to everyone and stay within the rules. ![]() The april fooled rank will be removed at the end of the month. It is possible however that it will be added back as a medal when we get that system implemented. |
