I think it's a good thing, everyone seems enthusiastic about their new Runewire experience. ![]() Edit: Be advised, I asked Jagex if it would be ok to say Runewire ingame now, and got back this message: ![]() Just so you know. We don't want any accidental mutes. ![]() |

Something that needs to be realized that even if there is perhaps too much activity now, it will die down a bit in a few days anyways. Runewire wasn't intended to be the same site as RSBANDB, I think too. Otherwise it would of used forum log ins etc. And then there is the friends list and groups and ignore list and such... If there are too many people you don't know, so what- get to know them. |

I'm still conflicted i think at least for the next few days i will be using the friends only option due to i don't want to scroll throught 5 pages a day. But i agree i think it will die down but i have seen several noobs who spam post (one guy posted like 20 times in one day) |

Five pages over the course of a day isn't actually that bad at all. XD I agree with Warren entirely. |

Unfortunatley many have quit because they were judged and treated like scum. Agreed, the activity level has dropped back down to where it was before the Twitter post. I'm sad that some of our forums members weren't as accepting as others. On the other hand, I think the same can be said with the welcoming of new members. My reference to that would be, overkill. I hope that makes sense and you'll were able to follow. |

The Haysta wrote: I'm curious, what exactly happened? It sounds like newer members were rejected for jumping on the bandwagon. Quite a few people were making public complaints on RuneWire about how new people were joining and "making too many posts". Obviously a not very welcoming approach so I guess they just decided to not post anymore. |

What? A debate about unwelcomed users, and I was not invited? ![]() I may sound Anti-social, but you should have a registered account on rsbandb to be allowed to use Runewire. Maybe even a required post count. This way, people might become active users of the forums and the community will grow larger. I don't care about the activity of the level 3 noob in lumbridge who just discovered RuneWire getting enough money for a cabbage, espiecally if I don't even know him. I'd rather see The Killer getting 8 dragon claws in a row. |

They target completely different audiences. You don't sign up to twit'ers only to find you need to sign up to a forum first and make lots of long well thought out posts just to register to a site all about making short, mindless, pointless little messages that no one cares about. There like...complete opposites. The bad mouthing should of been doubt with ASAP theirs the simple easy solution. That's presuming that's what did it and people didn't just register and lose interest like i imagine a lot of people do with these twitter things. Still damage done no use pondering on it. |
