I think we need Non-RS Gaming Forum since more and more people on RSBANDB play other games then RuneScape. Just a lot of people don't really bother talking about video games games at Non-RS Discussion Forum so everybody just posts at Sandbox which makes it kind of bad since threads don't stay there for a long time. I am suprised nobody made this suggestion before, since there are some many Halo 3, Gears of War, Counter Strike: Source, Battlefield 1942 players. Another nice thing would be is to have Non-RS Gaming Event sub-forum where people can host unofficial events. Post your opinions and tell me why this would be good/bad idea. |

Isn't this called RUNESCAPE bits & bytes? NOT halo 3, gears of war, etc. etc bits and bytes. |

Read my post, majority of people on here play other games then RuneScape. If I wanted to join some other Gaming Forum, I would. But I am sure a lot of people here would like to stick with the current community. |

Problem is that these kinds of topics, although posted enough to warrant a new forum, are typically the only kinds of posts which are being added on a regular basis to the forums which currently allow them. Having a new forum/subforum for them would almost deplete the existing ones of any activity. Not that any are really active right now anyway. I've got no objection to it, though. |

You just don't like Halo. ![]() However i do remember Mike and Shane saying they want this kept RS related and not expanding anywhere else. But a forum couldn't hurt, tbh I'm borderline on it. Wouldn't mind one but at the same time, i wouldn't care if one wasn't around. I guess you could find teams/partners to play games with through it, announce news and stuff and discuss but yaa..i dunno. |

We've already got a non-RS gaming forum. http://forums.rsbandb.com ![]() Anyways, there are plenty of fansites for each of those other games everyone plays. |

I don't know. It's not a bad idea at all, but it sort of detracts from the purpose of this forum. We do have the Sandbox, and it's not pruned often enough to completely make topics disappear in a day. People are still able to talk about games and build little communities in other games. |

I think it was that we just weren't going to make a clan for non-rs events. A forum would be fine, but I don't know if it would be used enough to even warrant us making one. I don't see many posts about other games that are actual discussions other than just spam. Actual discussions could be held in the non-rs discussion or media forums |

But don't you think more people will start discussing games once the forum arrives? I think there will be enough people here to do so. Plus the Non-RS Gaming Event sub-forum will also be really great and I am sure there will be fair amount of people using it also. It's just when you post something gaming news related like "Super Smash Bros Brawl got delayed" there will be no long term discussion held in Sandbox. |

Well..he has a point, there was no major writing things going on before the Lit forum. To the point where i didn't think it would work at all. However now theres quiet a bit. I think Mr Pink you should round up support, or try to. Like they did with the Lit forum. If enough people show interest it might prove something. |

I'd support this. I'm fed up of having to find the thread I posted about a certain game I'm discussing with someone. |

I agree this isn't called RS bits and bytes for nothing. ![]() Well if that -was- the case the Lit forum, off topic, tech, sandboth, graphics and media forums need to be gone too. Again, not giving my support to this really but i will argue for it if i see something i disagree with. ;D |

:\ Not really it'd suck the life out of the sandbox, which, going by the lack of..intelligent discussion there as of late would probably be a good thing. A lot more Video game posts get put in there over media, my Halo picture thread is about the only one in media. |
