OK, so we have non rs gaming events, and I think, wouldn't it be nice to make a clan consisting of bnb CS and BF2 players, just to practice and generally play the game more together? Also, we can organise contest with other Rs fansitec, like PWNHQ. If we're anywhere near good, we would get more known among RS playing fansite users.
A forum would be nice to have then :D

People have spoken to me about clans for these none gaming events before.

They've never really gone anywhere though. But the main thing that's a bother is who would lead it. There not easy things to manage and leaders that slack off would just be a waste of time.

I'd love to see something like that happen and have teams that compete with other clans/sites or whatever but it's a hard thing to accomplish imo.

Personally i wouldn't mind running an XBL team myself but the PC stuff and if the whole idea takes off, well, that's another story i suppose. :P

Well, first month should be training, no leader, just plain training at arranged time. After this month, members should vote wisely who they think is profiscient enough to be leading them into battle, like you suggested yourself, since your gamerscore is no-lyphe-sky-high... . That will be very important in team based games, like BF2. Then we can go on war path against other fansites.

Anyways, we sure do have enough players to keep clans like GoW and BF2 alive.

That's the problem. There's no one suitable that we can trust to lead it. Also it's a matter of what you guys want... People complain about the guides/items/npcs not being up. These sort of things complicate the situations. What I'm trying to say is.. there would be no time to make a whole new forum for non-rs gaming stuff. Unless we absolutely want to change the idea of rsbandb. I can tell you that changing the main focus of rsbandb won't be happening.

Right now lets just stick with our weekly events. Last time 9 people showed up max at the CS:S event. Creepy told me the gears of war turnout was pretty good... We'll see how BF2 does this weekend.

Hmmm sounds good if someone would keep it up and running but I wouldn't be able to join seeing as I;m already in a clan :(

eh.. you don't need a clan. just play games with each other casually. i've found clans (runescape or anything else tbh) turns the game into a job.
