Ok, i have realized that the people that think it is funny to change peoples signatures are really amused by it some what. To me a new improvement to the website should be put in place. A login script for the home pages which will be seperate to the forums. You sign up under your RS name and that way no one can edit your sig but then the only problem would be is people signing up under others names. That way you put an ip tracer onto that login that way its only 1 account per person. I have some other ideas that RSbandB might want to take into account to make their website even more successful. I know its my first post but i think that this community can become a better place for all of us ![]() Mr Savior |

Yes, we are working on this problem. Please keep telling us if your sig has been changed. We will take "appropriate" action against these people. |

OK, we have already thought of that but, there is a problem with that idea, what if other people sign up under someone elses name? And the people who have dynamic ip's could sign up for a bunch of names that aren't even theirs. There is no way to really have a login script for people to sign up for their own rs name, cause how would we know its really them. Thanks for your idea anyways though |

Well we are logging ip's on every name changed and we can ban people we see repeatedly changing other peoples names, I think the messages on the pages are clear enough. |

Yeah thats probably the most effiecient way. The only thing is if its another one of their own accounts. The only sigs i have edited on this site are mine, and made my mates for him. |

Yes well we wont be banning everyone we see updating other stats, most people will need to complain on the feedback form and give their rs name to get someone banned that was changing their sig. But in extreme cases like a lot of sigs (like more than 5) being changed a person will probally get banned. Changing my sig or shanes sig is an autoban cause i know that i should be the only one updating it, and the pages are clearly marked. I wish I could prevent other peoples from being changed but I don't know everyones IP and whos name corresponds to what IP. |

What you say is true. When the time comes im sure B&B will be able to implement a system that will stop people from editing others signatures ![]() ![]() |

Well what about only making it so you can change skills not on hi scores list? That way all hi-lvl skills will be auto-updated, and lower lvl skills... well... lol ![]() |

Yes, it does this already, where you can't change ones on the high scores. |

It doesn't update automatically right now though, I have to rewrite the update script because it was causing problems with the server. However, yes it did and will still do as you said. |
