why use runescape rules?

I am wondering why RsBandB uses the official runescape rules even though there is no direct affiliation with Jagex.

From the Knowledge Base FAQ thing on Fansites.

"The images or our trademarks must NOT under any circumstances be used on or
in conjunction with any website which encourages or helps users infringe our
terms+conditions or break our rules. Using them on a scamming, hacking, password
stealing, or cheating website is NOT allowed. "

So if we don't follow their rules, we don't get to use their images.

Besides, what rule of Runescape's is so outlandish that we shouldn't endorse it at RSBandB?

So you don't agree that if we use any images from Runescape that we shouldn't have to follow their rules? . . .

If you're going to use stuff from RS you follow there rules..otherwise you give them a bad image.

Questions answered really, this wont be changing. Maybe another mod or admin might want to expand on that but for now - Locked.
