Why is the chat room so dead...

I remember when it first came out it was "the hang out" kinda. Now whenever I check there is nobody in there

Because the site's not popular enough with members intelligent enough to click chat.

In a few months, if more people join, than it might get more used.

I always forget to go in.. also i work and usually to tired or busy to go into chat.. I have just enuff time to spare each day to check the forums.

It's because people keep going in there and then logging out of it again. If people stayed in, there might be a convo going, but this is not the case.

My guess is that there aren't even enough people that know about this site, to keep the chat room full and exciting..

Well, for me the applet doesn't load when I'm at school, and at home I'm occupied with the game, which has a chat of its own, so it's redundant.

Another factor is that when I do log into chat it's as empty as Zaros, so I go right back to the forums. I suspect that chat rooms owe most of their success to the coincidence of two users logging in within a close time frame.

Because i used my dds spec on it and it got posoned.
