Post subject:  Tables in posts?

How would I put a table in a post?

For example;

I'm currently writing and finishing off a fletching guide. Which contains tables so the exp and levels required for making items are easily seen.

In some of the cells, there are some pictures also.

How would I do this in the post?

e.g.

Level Required - Image - Experience - Level to weild

85 - picture of magic longbow - 183 - 50

Any help is appreciated

Unfortunately, you can't. Perhaps try taking a screenshot of the table and then posting it as an image?

Sorry :?

The admins just need to enable HTML in posts with the TABLE, TR, and TD tags allowed.

The reason html is not enabled because people can easily screw up the page

Yes, a simple "</tr>" could destroy the whole page, so we can't enable that.

I'll have to agree with Dan, try using a screenshot of the table.

Other than that, I'm stumped. :-k

Perhaps you could allow people to use html in their guides once you upload it onto the site, but just not when they post it on the forums...

Well, yes that will be what will happen.... any guides that are submitted to us will be reviewed and fixed up, but everyone that helped will be getting credit

Ok, i just took screenshots of the tables and did some colour on them too. If needed I still have the original word document with links to the pics and stuff.

Thanks for everyone's help.

This is weird, i have seen html enabled in alot of forums none had the problem..the html should be spacified to only 30 most simple codes, to limit the opster power

Simple html mistakes such as forgetting to close the <html> tag can do very odd things to the page. On myspace it removes buttons. lol.
