Someone did suggest a chatroom not too long ago but I don't know what happened to the topic. I think it would be cool to try a chatroom again. |

What about an IRC chat? |

IRC chat is pretty much what we are talking about. It is the easiest to put on a website and very easy to manage. It would be cool if we can get one going again. ![]() |

IRC chat is still a possibility, but we're also thinking of something else... More information will be released soon ![]() |

IRC chat would be the best route to go down me thinks, because you can easily make a Java applet to connect, while other users who prefer to use clientsoftware can easily connect. Good thing about IRC, for users is that its low bandwidth and uses minimal memory, so you can play rs and be a chat demon! ![]() |

i think the main reason the old chat didnt suceed is because nobody knew about it, I've been on this site for just under a year now...i think, and i never knew about it :S, an IRC chat would be good, but someone...and admin, would have to run a bot 24/7 to censor and auto kick/ban people, this is sortof inconvenient, because a computer would have to be left on all the time...which i do anyways but thats me, and I wouldnt run a bot for my own chatroom 'cause in my experience, this type o thing just causes problems...though, im all for a chat room ![]() |
