Post subject:  Suggestion : Damage Calculator

I would like to see a damage calculator in the calculator section.

I think it would be very useful to know exactly what the maximum damage one could do with the Dragon Longsword with 74 str on controlled style - or the maximum damage with rune arrows at 99 ranged, with a range pot as well.

It shouldn't be too hard to do, I'm sure there are many members who are willing to give their stats and the highest damage they've had Battle Axes or daggers etc.

Thoughts?

cool idea!

it would be tricky to figure out, and would take loads of data, but the results would be good as i never no wat strength lvl i need to gain a max hit etc...

well I dont really know anything, but I'm not sure if it's possible to know all the max hits...

It could be some complex formula... and just because a lvl 90 str has only seen 9* damage, that doesnt mean it couldnt be 10*, ant theyve just never hit it

*a random number, dont think im stupid lol

We had a max hit calculator before. Unfortuneately people were reporting it wasn't very accurate. So it was removed. We want to put another one up.

That may be true, but hopefully that's where masses of people sending their stats would be helpful. (1 lvl 90 might never have hit a 10, but hopefully the other 9 would...)

Although, if something like this would be accomplished, you'd need to account for attack styles, weapon choice etc. etc.

That was my only concern, the accuracy of it... but it's a great idea :)

Ok well I suppose we could try and make another formula if everyone submits:
  1. Strength Level:
  2. Strength Bonus:
  3. Highest hit:
Or for Range:
  1. Range Level:
  2. Arrow Type:

I'll make a new sticky for this.
