Runescape Bits & Bytes :: View topic - Why doesn't rsbandb host it's own users guides? :S

You think we should host both runehq's guides and some of our own?

If the guide is good enough, that means very helpful, it can go on the main site.

if we start to host guides it will be left to shane and mike to do all the work if people dont start to create decent guides...

and there aint really any good guides on the forum anyway so its just a waste to put 1 or 2 guides on the homepage......

i think leave the guides to runehq

Please do not misunderstand this. Runehq guides are great..i helped with a few of them i mean guides that *ARE NOT* already included why couldn't someone make a new special report guide? I mean obviously making quests guides wont be needed because hq has that covered but wheres the harm in adding more special reports/maps or whatever? It only improves this site even more.

I was just wondering because someone suggested here: viewtopic.php?p=98080#98080 I should turn it into a guide..and that made me wonder why you don't host rsbandb guides..is there a reason behind this? Or just not enough interest and/or good enough guides? I know you get runehq ones but i don't see why original diffrent guides can't be made here. Help?

Hmm yes i know theres a guide forum. I don't particuly see the point in it as most people wont use forums.

That's the suggestion..yea. The guide forum has a lot of good ones that could be handy that hq hasn't got.

There are plenty of guides..and you're not really one to judge peoples work. :\ My guess is the reason theres lack of guides is because whats the point? I know i haven't submitted any because i know it will just sit in the forum not being seen..seems pointless.

We already have a guide forum..why add to hqs work they get hundreds of these things so it would cause them more hassle, im sure it would be easy to share are guides with them if they wanted them..but im no expert.:S
