RSBandB now regularly reaches our traffic limit of 1TB of data per month, and because bandwidth is expensive we have decided to do something to try and reduce our usage.

By reducing the colour palette on most of our site and images to gray-scale, we estimate that page payload will be reduced by about 33%. This combined with a change next week of RSBandBUpdate to a slightly lower bit-rate should give us room to grow for the next year.

Since our site is mostly gray anyways, and our podcast is of higher audio quality than most out there, most of you shouldn't even notice much of a difference.

Those of us who are True Conservatives are quite "colourful" though (I, myself included). So, this is somewhat of a misnomer. Nevertheless, quite amusing on this Day of Fools! LOL

Idk. I tend to be pretty **** black and white most of the time.

How come we just didn't ban Creepy? Doesn't he use like 500GB alone every month?

We're back to normal now. The reduction in bandwidth per image was really only about 10% at best for those of you who are curious.

I have to admit, this is probably one of your better April Fools' jokes. Fairly believable(that is, if done on any other day ;) ) and not too intrusive(I.E. doesn't actually affect the use of the site).

Good Job
