Post subject:  New Forum Theme!
One of the many things asked of us every time we update the main site is when is a new forum theme coming? After all, we've went through 7 different designs for the main site, all while our forums maintained the same look ever since their introduction in 2004!

We are now proud to announce a forum style matching our main site design!

Thank you very much to Chief Snake for his hard work on making this excellent template. It's a very welcome addition to the RSBandB community.

There are a few small additions of features like quick reply and rss feeds for forums and topics, but otherwise you should find everything in similar places as the old theme.

For those of you who are resistant to change, the classic theme is still available to change back to in the UserCP.

If anyone notices any problems or has any suggestions for things we've forgotten or you think should be included, please let us know :)

Is there supposed to be an advert in the top right of the banner? It's gone now that i hit reply but it was there when viewing the topic..looked rather out of place.

Anywho from what I've seen of it i like the new bigger version. Nice work.

It's only there on pages with content, and yes that's where it's supposed to be.

There wasn't really anywhere an ad can fit on here without it looking out of place.

It was either there, or putting one of those 728x80 either above or below the user bar again. Do you think that would be better instead?

I'd like to get rid of ads entirely but we are still quite a bit short of money for paying for the site every month.

Good work to all the staff on getting everything ready though, it really works (Y)

The only thing that I would change is the adverts would be at the bottom of the page, rather than the top, but thats just me >.>

I hit the quote above thinking it was to quote the post below. :( That's going to take some getting used to.

Uh as for the advert beats me..i presume they both pay out the same. Isn't an issue for me it just looked odd blocking the banner.
