Well it appears that some people don't know when double posting is allowed and when it isn't so I'm making this announcement.

When double posting is allowed:
  • To bump your own topic in marketplace, or clan recruitment if the last post on the topic was more then 2 hours ago
When double posting is NOT allowed:
  • Anything else

Also there is problems with people bringing up old topics, so I will talk about those. Old topics are classified as topics that havn't been posted in for over 2 weeks.

When bringing up old topics is allowed:
  • If you are adding something important to the discussion. It better be something really good if you are posting on a topic that has already died.
  • If it is your own topic, and you have something to add to it.
When bringing up old topics is NOT allowed:
  • Anything else

And let me say something else. Posting after someone double posts, or brings up an old topic, telling them not to do it again doesn't help at all, thats just more spam. Simply use the report button and report the post to a mod

I have a friend that got some kind of software off the internet that prevents double posting but I don't know if it works with phpBB forums. I'll ask him.

I couldn't get ahold of the guy that had that spftware I was talking about. I don't think its a good idea to have actually, it causes some confusion sometimes and caused his forums to crash. Luckily they weren't too big lol.

The thing is we allow double posting in some forums, what I said above is the rules right now, till we get a better way to stop it.

The same was with his forums. it let you choose where it will work. But forget I said it now, you probably don't want to risk your forums with it. It made his forums unable to log in to.
