As you may know today the site was down because some noob felt the need to create as many accounts as he could before our site was suspended for sending over 1000 emails in 5 minutes. It's really sad that people like this exist and now we have to up the security by the admins having to activate accounts and maybe some more security to come.

Yea.. Shane already deleted all the users that the script kiddie created and we are gonna install a little script to prevent automatic registration

But thanks to shane and other mods and admins is it now ok !

there was a user who registed with the name rsbandb, well, if i should describe him with a few words then it would be stupid, sick and noobish.
he had 7 posts and one of then would be enought to get ip banned.

Why do people even do such a thing! They are just a bunch of 30 year old guys who still live with there mom and they have no friends or life. I hate people like them! :evil:

Did you IP ban him? Because if you dont he can come back. If he is a true hacker he may be able to hack into your system again. Be careful. FTP is very useful but its a security hazard too. And btw I wanted to help out with making guides but I dont know where to go...

Rsbandb already has a lot of guides cause we traded our calculators for their guides so i say just wait to see if there are any guides missing.

Rsbandb made a deal with runehq about letting runehq use our calculators, and we get their quest guides in return.

We in return have obtained the code for thier Calculators for RuneHQ. They are very advanced calculators that pull back your stats from the Runescape High scores for you. We have one calculator left to get from them, the combat calc. For now the java menu that comes up when you view a RS Bits and Bytes Caclulator will link back to thier site for the combat calc. RS bits and Bytes will help us maintain our copy of thier calcs and supply us updates when they update their calcs. We have the code for these and can make minor updates to them ourselves if needed.
