Actual combat

Edit: Now that this got moved out of the sandbox, I guess I should say more.

Combat is no longer boring click n watch, and you have skills to use on targets that do more damage, give extra effects, and more. You can enable this momentum thing if you like click n watch combat though but it's not the same.

Runescape thinks it's World of Warcraft now.

It's really hard to recap everything you missed - "a lot" is the only thing to really say.

I'd listen to the newest podcast to get a better idea of what happened this year - that way you'll at least be up to speed with what's going on right now. The game has really taken leaps and bounds this year, moreso in years past.

Easier question to answer is what hasn't changed... The answer to that is nothing. Everything has changed. In a way, it's a completely different game (new graphics, new "skills", new combat, even a new tier of quest difficulty)... Everything is new.
