Hello everyone,

I am having some problems with the Jagexlauncher, it is not closing after I close Runescape. I play quite a few games on my computer and it really bogs down my computers memory, is there some way to make it close with Runescape?

Thank You In Advance,
Chosblade12

Jagex Launcher?

If you're talking about closing the RS client you have to log out then just hit the clsoe button, you can also go into task manager and end the process IF you know what it is. If you're talking about java you can end the process java.exe once you've logged out, although it should go away once you close your window/tab that's on RS.

On what Estor said, java.exe (I believe that's the process in task manager or something akin to that) could still be running after the game "closes out." I've had a few problems recently with the graphics of RS. My graphics driver stops working and the RS screen goes blank. I then have to close Firefox, but Java will still be running the game. I would say if you have the problem, go into task manager, go to the process tab, and sort by CPU usage. Then, just end process for java. But like Estor said, make sure it is the right process before you end it.

I'll try that next time it happens, though I just changed my graphics settings for RS. Might be fixed.

I've only ever had problems with RS once and that was because I didn't know that google chrome only came in 32 bit and my jRE was 64 bit
