Post subject:  My membership has left my account?

I have been subscribed to Runescape since June of 2008 - (this current subscription at least) and now I cannot log into a member's world. It says I have a "Subscription Active" but I cannot log into member's worlds...? What is wrong?
Here is the message in the inbox, I'm not sure what to do...

"Hi there,

We're sorry to inform you that your recent payment attempt was unsuccessful. As such, we have accepted no funds from you for this transaction and this has not affected your account.

This transaction was declined by the issuer of your fund source, so I'm afraid that we don't have any information on why these payments have failed as the information would be highly confidential.

If you are paying with a credit or debit card, contact your card issuer for more information on why this has happened. Jagex are based in the UK, so if you live elsewhere it could be that you need to pre-approve payment to overseas companies. It could also be something as simple as insufficient available funds.

If you are subscribing via PayPal, there could be a similar problem with the fund source linked to your account, or there could be a larger issue with your PayPal account itself. To find out more, contact PayPal directly:

http://www.paypal.com

If you aren't able to resolve the issues affecting your payment attempts, don't worry. We have plenty of alternative ways for you to make payment. For further details, visit our website:

http://www.jagex.com/kbase/guid/billing

We hope to see you enjoying members' features soon. "

My immediate thought was perhaps the credit card you used is date-expired, even though it is is still the same number etc.

In this case you have to initiate a 'new' subscription, with the updated details ( expiry date etc).

If you do this as soon as you get the inbox message any days credit left are added to the 'new' subscription.

Hope it is as simple as this.

ask your parents for help, or get them to get you one of those debit cards you can use online. Then you can track it yourself. Just get your parents to verify the details again.

That's my guess also. Find out how you paid for your membership then the problem should be easy enough to find.

How can there be a active subscription if the transaction was unsuccessful? Just doesn't Doesn't seem right. My guess would be to pay again (going off of what rodsay said). This would no-doubtedly fix the problem. Also, might be worth getting one of those runescape card things. That way, you wont have to worry about credit card transaction issues. Quick easy and simple :P

Cheers, dafin0
