when mining, i got atacked by a skeleton and started fighting andckicked on the rock.

i was lv 15 mining and aparently didnt mine at all. i just picked up the ore and ran off.

I remember back in the day when I was too nubbish to fight the scorpions in the dwarven mines, the same thing happened to me.
I think the character ignored the combat, but that interrupted the mining animation.

That happens when you get attacked, the animation doesn't show but you are mining. Some times it will show and other it won't, depends if you just got attacked be the monster it won't show.

Like what mli said. Sometimes it might show part of the animation, sometimes it won't. You still mine regardless of if it does the animation and/or get attacked. Kind of funny to watch. Just make sure you don't get killed in the process. xD

Oh yes, Death overrules all animations. Although i think there are exceptions. ;);)
