Post subject:  Possibly a defender is a rare drop from Cyclops? [locked]
Defenders can be obtain from Cyclops in the Warriors' Guild.... Defenders are untradeable... If lose your defenders, you will start with bronze.. After Cyclops died, it possibly drop a defender, start with bronze, later on iron, steel, black, mithril, adamante and finally rune. Requires Attack and Defence depending on the levels to wield the defenders.. How can I obtain a defenders, is it rare drops or possibly drops???

Sorry, what are you asking? If defenders can be classified as 'rare' drops because they're untradeable?

They're not a rare item, though most people would agree that they are semi-uncommon drops from the Cyclops. Also, it is easier to keep either an Adamant defender, or an extra Rune defender in your bank, so if you need to get more you won't need to go through the full chain of Bronze -> Rune to get what you want again.

Before enter the Cyclops room in Warriors' Guild, requires 100 tokens, can drain 10 tokens every minute. Many Players report that wearing a Ring of Wealth to increase the chance that drop a defender. If I don't have a tokens after 10 tokens drained, I will go out the Cyclops room?

Are you copy and pasting information about rune defenders? I think they kick you out after you have no tokens.

To my knowledge they could be considered a rare drop, but you need to show your defender to the person outside of the Cyclops room to "upgrade" to having the next level of Defender dropped. At Rune I guess they could be considered semi-rare, but not rare imo.

...Definitely not rare rare at all, unless rare has been recently redefined to more likely than dragon item drops. You probably wont get bronze to rune in 20 minutes, but I don't think it will take more than 3 hours maximum.

Not sure the details of what exactly happens once you do not have tokens to pay for another minute; however, I do know that you can't kill anymore cyclopes at the very least.

You just start to talk towards the door after a minute or so after she tells you to leave.

Ring of wealth doesn't worked to increase the chance that dropping a defender from Cyclops levels 56 and 76 or may be worked?

Doubt it as some people get the drop right away or they waste thousands of tokens to get one. It's just luck that I don't think is affected by a ring of wealth getting the drop sooner.

I think ring of wealth only affect rare items that are tradable, not quite sure though. But the defenders shouldn't be rare, especially now that you can have the cyclops all to yourself. I just keep an Addy defender and a few rune defenders in bank incase I run out of them.

:p I meant that the cyclops aren't as popular anymore with rich players using dfs and most people already have defenders. So yeah you might be able to find an empty world at my time zone.

Any kind of attacking will hit the cyclops, doesn't matter melée range or Mage.

Is Melee Protection, would be advised, but bring prayer pots for Cyclops in the Warrors' Guild, if not, bring lots of high lvl foods?

No, praying on Cyclopes would be a waste. Using monkfish is fine.
