What is the fastest runecrafting experience in the game - with runes, not talismans - and how much experience is it per hour approximately?

The fastest method would probably be the ZMI altar. Not sure how much exp per hour but I thought it was around 35k-45k per hour.

If you use the fast route at the ZMI, craft, tele to Lunar Isle and back, then you could probably get up to 45k xp per hour.

Actually banking at that place is a little faster than banking at Lunar Isle or any other bank for that matter. The only thing you need to do is have a full bank. So you can store all your runes except for your pouches.

The fastest experience is the ZMI (Ouriana) Altar. The absolute fastest experience per hour here is just over 60k, but a reasonable rate is around 55k. Here's a guide by the rank 1 runecrafter in the game:

I also thing usig the ZMI altar is the fastest way to get rc xp...around 50k/h
but beware that u maybe make lost....

The ZMI is the fastest (as has been said), but if you do it, buy a large amount of elemental runes to use to get into the bank, usually fires are the cheapest.

I think it is clear that ZMI is the fastest experience in the game. To confirm, it is about 35-50k an hour. If you wish to get at least 50k an hour I would suggest NOT being in the clan chat and NOT being logged on to any messengers.. Why? Because 50k or more is with absolutely no distractions. Trust me. I did it for 6 months straight. lol If you're looking for a more reasonable figure, go with around 35-40k hourly. As for a banking method, buy a lot of fires or bodies and use the bank at ZMI. Use the Ourania teleport on lunar spellbook to cycle back. Depending on your level (about 80+ assuming you are using all 4 pouches and an abyssal familiar weilding a mud staff) you will make all the runes required to use the teleport 9 out of 10 times. Just in case though, keep a R.O.D. on hand.

With a decent mouse and a fast enough computer, 50k is not impossible to get. Not everybody is able to reach it though (depending on their attention span and how fast they're able to click). Using mousekeys will help get up to 55k an hour.

After you get into the routine of ZMI runecrafting, you should be able to hit at least 40k an hour with ZMI. Just make sure to bank in the altar and to put your pouches in the square, L or 6th row formation and use an abyssal familiar at all times.

Without a doubt, the ZMI altar. Best place for runecrafting experience then any other place in the game.

ZMI by far is the best xp you can get. But if you want some profit, well, a lot of profit Natures are also something I've seen people do to 99. Granted it's not very fast, but you make a lot of money.

ZMI is faster than the rune altars. The Soul Rune is not require the RuneCrafting level.
