Mine, smelt and smith your own items to low alch, which is what I did lol, works the same with bows or dragonhide armours.

Other options are:
- Use lots of curse spells, very cheap exp
- Fist of Guthix, not as fast but its free
- Buy ores to superheat and sell back bars. Recommend mithril bars for break-even or even profit
- Camelot teleport, all you need is an air staff and lots of laws but a little expensive (members)

There are some other method like killing or enchantment. Choose whatever suits your fancy ^^.

Magic is not a profit skill.
For a cheap and fast way I would go to the Mage Training Arena ( next to the duel arena ) and do the enchanting game, and just use the best enchant skill you can. Level 2 enchant until you get to 49. So bring air staff and cosmics.
Then fire runes.

Either the classic high alch, or to spice things up, you can use 'superheat item', which will also give you smithing experience. If you use it only for smelting, it won't cost you alot.

the only way to make money using magic is to make teleport tablets, it is good profit, but slow exp. At your level however, it should advance your levels pretty fast.

Superheat is great...because it is profitable. Depending on your smithing level, almost always superheating steel+ is profitable

Get an air staff and a bunch of law runes and just keep hitting Camelot teleport. It's faster than Varrock, and you don't have to buy fire runes.

yah dude, just tele to cammy/varrock till you get to 55, then after that, go get some stuff to alch and you will make back what you lost from the tele's in no time =), if you alch right.

You lose a lot of money alching. but yes that is the best way to train at level 55.

the only profitable way i know is to play fist of guthix which i think is a fun game, you get profit from buying things with the tokens then wearing them out,I've made allot of money off of it and allot more money to come from it.
i got from 54-56 magic from it,well basically most of my magic levels, hope this helps.

Mine iron ores, buy nature runes, superheat them, sell the bars back. It's about 70gp profit per bar created, so it's not costly at all.

I Go to the wizard's tower and fight the lesser demon. (thats's a hint to my magic level ) You wont get hit because it's behind a steel cage. Just make sure that you get what's left after you kill it.

Cheers, dafin0

i recomend superheating ore, steel and up is really good. if that isnt working out, make tablets. use you explorer ring 3, if you have one, to low alch stuff every day, mainly for the exp. do the circus. you can ofcourse do fist of guthix aswell, if you want a combat based way to raise magic, but if you dont enjoy it, use the previous ways. and ofcourse there is always the mage training arena, i got a few levels there personally, plus you can get some cool stuff there. also if you can, do some quests that give mage exp, or some that gives optional exp.
