I need to set up an altar in my house. Any suggestions on layout to make training Prayer as easy as possible? I'm assuming I'll need to set up a mounted Glory nearby.

Is there any advantage going one direction over the other? Doesn't seem like there would be but I've never trained at an altar so I'm asking before spending the 1m+ to put it in.

If you put the alter north you can run straight there with no obstacles but you might be able to do that from any location directly by the portal.

If its east or west, you might get them mixed up sometimes, north and south are easier to see so that's good.
