I just did roving elves and got my crystal bow, but it costs a lot per charge. I know the price goes down per charge, so should I buy seeds and charge them and sell the bows until I only have to pay 180k a charge? |

Bows are untardeable, only the seeds are. |

Well, If you have the Money to keep Recharging it, then it's good, but if you don't have alot. The don't bother, You can find a better bow. And since you want to sell the bows (like Sev said untradeable) you don't sound like a ranger. |

Idk..Personally I dont think its worth it because the rune crossbow with broad bolts is better and cheaper..I train with slayer using cannon. |

Once you get the bow doen to 180k a charge it's not too bad, but I can understand your reluctance on forking out the gp needed to get to that point. I felt the same. |

The Dark Bow isn't exactly the best training bow at all, you'd be better off with a crossbow + Broad bolts, or a Magic Short Bow with Steel or Mithril Arrows. As for the Crystal Bow, it may cost a bit at first, but in the end you'll be paying 180k for 2500 Rune-eqsue arrows, averaging out to be 72gp per arrow. Factor in the fact that you don't have to pick anything up, and that you hit roughly 25% of your level at full charge (20% at 1/10 bow), and the Crystal Bow is quite the weapon. It's a bit slower than other methods, but in the end it's all up to you to decide. |

I think if you have the money you should probably give it a try, but if you don't feel like using it then you dont really have to. |

Why not give a few methods a try. See how the Dark Bow, xbow (try different bolts)and crystal bow compare if used for an hour each. I generally do stuff like for most things to make levelling a bit less boring. You could then post your results. |

its ok, if u have have the money to keep recharging it then go for it. crystal bow is among the top 10 bows on rs

ur doing it wrong, use knives theyre rapid as hell so instead of hitting 1 20 with the bow u can hit 3 15s at the same time. also u help the economy by buying unsellables. |

i would say crystal bows are worth it... i recently spent 3.3m on 10 seed and 10 recharge. But the charging price starts at 900k then decreases 180k at time till they are 180k
