Super-compost is the first thing to get; make with pineapples bought for 2 gp each at Catherby, you are allowed to buy 40 per day. Super-compost makes your seeds/plants less likely to disease. Fairy Tale part 1 and 2 get you the magic (greem ) secateurs which help your seeds to grow with less chance of getting disease. The shield from the Falador diary gives extra xp while farming at the plots south of Falador. The Lumbridge diary explorer ring 3 gives you a cabbage-port teleport to the Falador plot. These are the most direct activities to give you more efficient farming but you may have to do a number of quests and gain levels of other skills to get them. The best way to get more efficient farming is just to do more farming until you have a high level. Like real life there are not many shortcuts. ![]() ![]() |

You need to talk to him to get the option to buy pineapples though, instead of just straight trading him. |

If your only interested in doing trees (fruit and normal), which are the best farming experience, you should do the mournings end series up to mournings end 1 (Plague City -> Biohazard -> Underground Pass -> Regicide -> Roving elves) in order to get an extra fruit tree. You do not have to complete mournings end 1, just start it so you get the lyetta teleport crystal. Also you want to do the Tree Gnome Village quest in order to use the tree in the grand exchange (where there's a normal tree nearby) to teleport to tree gnome village (where there's a fruit tree) and then to gnome stronghold (which has a fruit and a normal tree farming patch). A house in tavelry wouldn't hurt so you don't have to walk from fally to tavelry during your run, but it's not required. If your looking to plant herbs for cash, you may need to do Fairy tale 2 in order to get the magical sectateurs which reduces the chance a plant has of becoming diseased. Also do ghost ahoy quest for the ectophial which teleports you right beside a herb patch. My arm's big adventure, although having many prerequisites, is extremely useful as it's reward is a herb patch which never dies (i.e, every day you can make at least 10k from planting ranarr seeds without worrying about your herbs from a single patch). These quests also give you trollheim teleport. You need to do plague city to get ardougne teleport where there's a herb patch and maybe do the lumbridge achievement diary so you can teleport right beside the falador herb with the cabbage patch teleport. 52 summoning may help so you can use a spirit terrorbird for replenishing run and for holding more items. |
