I think it's trading items for the minimum price. Either that or it's trading newbie or useless items. Flash |

Yeah, it must be trading items like empty vials, uncut gems, large quantities of low level herbs/seeds for expensive items. |

It is meant to trade and bypassing the GE trade limit forced down our throats by Jagex. The problem with this is that most junk items aren't free to produce, or take a long time to produce, so you have to find a very efficient item to make if you would like to sell Third Age, for example, which is probably sold at 5-10 times its Market Value in streets... |

It's kind of pointless as you must have junk, worth GP, to trade for GP. You trade your junk for someone's GP until you get the value desired, then trade the good item for the final GP. I don't understand why people bother, but I'm not saying Jagex's system should have to be gone around. |

It's mostly just selling something for a higher price than it is by putting up a bunch of junk from your bank to make it a higher price |

The point is that you can make some junk by yourself quite fast and you could turn 80M into 180M of junk arguably easily. It's still the best thing to do right now if you'd like to sell third age or buy a partyhat lol. |

Junk trading is what most people that are quitting and want to get rid of the good items they have. For example: trading millions of needles and coifs (yes, that's sort of like me) for items like full dragon, partyhats, santa hats, etc. Just when 1 person wants to get rid of something and doesn't want money for it and the other wants it, but doesn't have money will you ever see something like that happen. |

It's trading junk items that no one wants to buy. For example the thousands of unstrung willow longbows some of you probably have in your bank. |

Yea its close to what tal said in my experience the party hats are much lower that the price set by the trade and g.e so people put in summoning scrolls, pouches and unstrug bows to make the price of the party hat go down considerably. |

you all have it wrong. forexample, u go buy 1k buckets and fill them with water. your 1k investment is now worth 13k... junk traders aint dumb, they'll find something low priced, and something to them to them. via water in buckets, a 1m investment will yield 13m. do not do this unless you just want to be looked down upon as a player |

If i have a 3rd age plate, i could sell on the ge for 30m (hypothetical number) but people would be willing to pay up to 50m (hypothetical number) for the plate. So i trade them, and i put up the plate. They put up 50m in cash. Then, to bypass the trade limit, i throw in 20m worth of "junk" or useless items (aka summon pouches, unstrung bows) and the trade is done. I agree with it, becuse the GE is inacurate. |
