You can make it really short once you hit 30 construction with the butler/plank maker technique, but you need 2 bedrooms with beds in them. With this is would cost you the price of about 1K Oak Logs (20K) and the price to turn to them into planks (400K) Then the additional charge for the butler. (20K-50K) So about 440K-500K. This is also quick. Note 1K Oak Logs, Have Butler near you, ask him to run you planks. Give him money and he'll return with your planks, flatpack them and drop. Repeat. Bring A Hammer. Not sure if I'm 100% accurate |

Each plank gives the same amount of experience regardless of what object you're making, therefore the fastest XP is from whatever uses the most planks to create, which would be larders in the kitchen (dungeon doors at level 74). The most efficient planks to use are oak, which you will need a little over 1500. Buying them directly from the Grand Exchange at medium price would cost ~720K. Cutting the logs by yourself by the sawmill and converting them into planks would cost 375K, or you can add 33K to this cost from buying the oak logs off the exchange at medium price. You can add even more to this price if you have your servant bring the logs to the sawmill for you, which you need the cook (level 30) or higher to do. Zac has the method- except you don't need level 30, you can get a servant right now- the maid. She costs 1K initially and 1K every 10 or so actions. Once at 30, upgrade to the cook who costs 3K and 3K every 10 or so actions. To "run the planks", or redeem the notes, use the noted planks on the servant and ask her to redeem her maximum amount. You will only need to give money every 10 or so actions. You must be in your kitchen in building mode, right click->build on the larder space. You will also need a saw as well as a hammer. If you do not wish to spend this much, you can always do limestone fireplaces. ![]() |

Just make anything which is made using oak planks. Cheapest and fastest way. As well get a butler. For every 8 batches of planks that you do, you have to pay 5k... as much as the law runes would cost, just 2x as fast. If you buy the oak logs from the grand exchange (which is suggested if you have 50+ runecrafting to make the money back with), it will cost you 7.9gp per experience. From 1-50 that would be 790k cash. Otherwise, you can buy oak logs and make them into planks for half that price. At 33 do larders, until then, anything with oak planks is great. |

Personally, I think flatpacks are faster than larders since you don't have to switch to build mode and don't have to tear them out afterwards. |

ur at 27 only thinking the quests with construction xp would give more than just up to there. either way 50 aint to hard after the couple of quests with cons xp for rewards and the methods mentioned above. tho one other method that people like is if you have access to some of the top castle wars armor or the smithing lvl for the armor displays it's a lil more clicking but more xp per oak plank. |
