Yes, you can play with just starting Ichilaran's Little Helper, but I SERIOUSLY reccomend you do up through 'Contact!'. It will help you TONS if you are going to train Thieving lots. Have fun with it though.

I'm 60% sure you can do it without Icthlarin's Little Helper. I seem to remember using the Pharaoh's sceptre to get there and I could play. |

It's worth a try Killer. But if you do the quests you get to use the bank there, so can get on with levelling a lot easier. |
