Do gravestones disappear if you log out?

Post subject:  Do gravestones disappear if you log out?
I died recently of lag and I thought I was safe because of the new gravestone update. But the lag made me log out, but I didn't think much of it until I reached the place where I died and there was no gravestone. So I'm wondering if they disappear when you log out.

I'm not sure if they do that but I know they will dissapear after a amount of time.

Yes, they do dissapear if you log out. It's annoying.

But, gravestones only appear if you have 4+ items worn/in your inventory.

They crumble if you log out. Why would you log out if you were going to your gravestone to collect your items, though?

Yea I dont like that litle feature. I dont see the harm done in making them still stay up for the period of time even if you do log out. Cuz prolly about 60% of deaths are caused by "Lag Outs" :(

I thought I read somewhere that they were going to change it. At least they should change it in my opinion. I don't die unless I lag at some dangerous place.

But yeah, they disappear as soon as you log out.

I didn't know that they went Away if you log out and in your case with the lag not cool! :)

Jagex is probably paranoid that it'll be a new form of drop trading..Die, and have your noob go and pick up your stuff from the gravestone.

Well that's impossible. If you die no-one will see your stuff. If your gravestone crumbles to dust your items will just disappear.

You are able to upgrade the marker so that it lasts for 5 minutes unaided by a blessing. Doing this will most likely allow you to log back in and get to the point on the map of your demise in time.

If you are not aware, speak to the priest in Lumbridge.
