Santa or Bandos Plate?

Post subject:  Santa or Bandos Plate?
Kind of stuck between the two. I have a Santa, but the price doesn't seem to be going up, I've already lost money when I bought it for 20M about 6 months ago. Price manipulators are taking advantage of it.

So Santa Hat or Bando's Platebody?

You will certainly benefit more from a Bandos Plate than a Santa Hat because what really can you do with a Santa Hat? A Bandos Plate looks cooler and it's better for the use of combat, and you will be able to wear a helm that actually has defense bonuses. If you're planning on investing the Santa Hat good luck because I don't think it's going to raise in price anytime soon.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, but the other thing is Bandos Plate isn't discontinued, a Santa Hat is. So I'm just not really sure.

I don't know why but i would keep santa since i'm not a full adept of combat.
This because Santa price can go up (even though its a bit messed up right now) and bandos will drop by time.

Just my opinion !!!

yea it is quite a tough desicion. santa will only go up, but like the d cahin ssure its cool and nice but it will go down with time cuz it keeps entering the rs economy thru the drops. but another plus side is if u get bandos pl8 u could fight stronger monsters and get better cash and save up for another santa or maybe even more. so technically u could have both. u could do that same but ud have to do a lot of merchanting with a santa multiple times and that will be dead in jan so i would say bandos pl8 :)

Yeah, real tough decision, I would personally sell the Santa Hat and get a Bandos Plate.

Alright, I decided. I'm going to wait until Christmas day and then sell it (in hopes the price will rise somewhat). If not, then I'll sell it and buy the plate. Thanks guys.

I'd personally rather have a bandos chestplate as well. it is, other than the third age platebody, the best non-rented plate armour in the game. it also has a strength bonus and a prayer bonus, giving it an advantage over the traditional third age armour. lastly, it looks cool :D all you get with a santa hat is the looks cool part.

A lot of prices fell recently. I think this is because a lot of gold farmers are releasing inventory to get their final deliveries of gold before the new rules take place. I think santa hats were among the items that were unloaded...Very soon (sometime in January) prices should rebound.

Your best bet would be the Bandos Plate.
Santa hats have been rising/lowering in price a lot for the last couple of months and I think that in the near future when the 3k rule comes into effect, both the Bandos and the Santa will go up in price.

Neither! Use that cash for skills!

If I had to choose though, I would go with the santa. Mainly because I already have one, and would like a place holder in my bank, so I can keep it near the top. :)

i would say bandos plate, rares are just status icons now.
