Let me know any suggestions on what to wear, etc...
Also, I could use a few strategies from people who've done it. I would like to get it in one or two tries.

ddefinately should get an archers ring, it helps some and i recomend using a rune cbow with addy+ bolts they hit harder and then use a shield aswell |

you may want to swap out the saradomin coif for another saradomin brew or super restore. and if you aren't bringing a ring, just slap a recoil on for the hell of it. it won't do much but it might save you a shot or 2 of your bow at higher levels. |

You need all the ranged bonus you can get, even small amounts really did help cut down on the time it seemed from my attempts. The coif has a pray bonus as well, so bringing another super restore wouldn't help. I don't know what to tell you for strategies other than the basics of slamming feet = range, raised feet = mage. But you probably already knew that 
When the healers come, I just run right through Jad right after he does a magic attack, trapping the healers on the other side. Running around Jad never worked for me, it just wasted time because the healers were able to follow. And no I never got hit by him with melee, he didn't have time
Another thing that might help is, you have more time to eat when he uses that mage attack than the ranged attack. The ranged one is a bit quicker, so you'd want to eat or check stuff right after switching to mage prayer. One last thing you could do is drink a dose of super set before going in, it will help a bit. |

One, be sober when you fight jad. Two, practice prayer switching with a friend in arena Three, try to calm down your nerves. This all should help you a bit. |
