So, I am a noob or whatever you want to call me, but... I have never done metallic dragons, but I have a bronze drag slayer task now. My question is, what is the best way of going about it. I was thinking maybe taking a anti fire pot or two and a few prayer pots, and wearing my guthans body and skirt, with whip and using protect from melee. Would that be an effective method, or should I try something else. oh and my combat stats are 73 73 71 73 64 62 65 |

That should do it for a short task. I think you'll just be fine. Don't bother bringing Guthan though. You better use something that gets prayer bonus. Like initiate or just plain monk robes. |

In my opinion, Iron dragons are the only worthwhile Slayer task. Bronze Dragons have a low drop percentage and Steel Dragons have a high Defense level. Neither of them are really worth it. |

no one will call you noob here. This is forum where everyone respects each other ![]() Btw, you can also use mage or ranged on the dragons. For mage use fire bolt and chaos gauntlets, anti fire shield, anti fire pots, and p pots. For ranged use your best ranged armour, your best cbow, anti fire shield and anti fire pots. I think thats all ![]() |

Supposedly, they're weak to water. If that's true, they'll be hit more often with water-type attacks, or even that special of a Pearl (e) bolt. If you haven't already finished the task, do what Southrend suggested; wear items that boost your prayer, as opposed to your defense. You'll be praying meele, so you won't have to worry at all about being hit. Since you're planning on meeleing, they are weak to crush type attacks, but any weapon that uses that probably won't be what you would like to use...Don't show up with a Dragon Mace expecting it to be as effective as a whip. Bring your whip, DDS, a few antifire potions, and your prayer potions, coupled with the rest of the aforementioned equipment, and you'll do just fine ![]() |

Yeah I used my D Scim with Initiate. Worked great, the entire time I was there didn't get hit for a single point of damage, I worried for nothing ![]() I stayed longer than my task too hoping to get a decent drop lol. thanks for the tips guys. |
