Ok, say I get to 90 wc. I was thinking of working for a d axe to make it a bit faster to 99 wc. Now I would fish 15k lobs, and sell them to get the money for d axe. Would it be faster to simply keep going, and not stop, or to get the 15k lobs and get a d axe? The lobs would take a couple of weeks. Thanks, Eric |

Just continue to cut your logs with a rune axe. A Dragon axe speeds things up like 5% so i wouldn't even stop. Keep on going for that 99. |

If you're chopping while not dropping the logs, just chop until you have enough logs to sell to get the money. You'll waste good woodcutting exp while spending weeks on gathering money through fishing. |

That's not the point, he wants to train woodcutting. It's a matter of effectiveness, not expensive items. |

Yeah, just keep going till you have enough logs to sell for it. I had a d wc axe and the rune was almost as good. Good Luck! |

actually, i'd suggest selling whatever you have now, like d legs, or whip, or something, to buy a d axe, then when you're done, sell the axe back and repurchase your stuff. if you don't have stuff, then i guess you can't do it that way :/ |

if you don't have stuff, then i guess you can't do it that way :/ Then you have to take into account any future drops in the price of that item. He still has around 7 or 8 million xp to go to 99...so I'd just cut until he has enough trees to sell and then by the D axe. |

I think it's best to just keep going without the axe unless you have the money to buy it already. |

obviously if you had the axe it would make it quiker but having to stop and get it would slow you down alot ![]() |

You could switch over to yews for a while, cut like 10k of them for 2.5M, buy your axe, and continue. That means at least you are still cutting and working towards your goal. Good luck! |

With 10k yews you should be able to get more than 250 each...that is about 280-310 per depending on the day. |

Oh yes, I forgot I am still living in the Stone Ages (about 2 months ago) the prices have increased, so it is like 330 to 360 a log. Sorry 'bout the misconseption. |
