Nothing. Just some good antimage armor like dragonhide. And then they still hit quite hard.

What I wear;

For melee I choose either an offensive or defensive strategy. Typically, for long tasks (140+) I tend to take defensive gear, and offensive gear to finish off or for smaller tasks under 100.

Defensive;
- Dagganoth Spined Helm
- Black Dragon body and chaps
- Combat Brace
- Obsidian Cape
- Mind Shield
- Seers Ring
- Amulet of Defence
- Black Mystic Boots

Offensive
- Warrior Helm
- Amulet of Glory
- Black Dragonhide body and chaps
- Combat brace
- Obby Cape
- Mind Shield
- Rune Boots
- Warrior Ring

That's an Anubis for you. I would also tend to use what he says.
