Post subject:  Fire Cape
I'm going to go for the fire cape. I know, it's about time (115 Combat). I need some advice (preferably from someone who has already done it :P ):

1) What armor should I use
2) What food/potions
3) What weapons

full guthans, karil's top and bottom and xbow, i'd say 2k racks. Then sara brews and super restores.

It's all about practice. I'd say run in there a few times with nothing on you and explore the place just to get to know it. Watch some vids on youtube to find out where the safe spots are etc.

I haven't done it but I can't say I haven't tried.

Recommended

Armour & Weapons
Guthans
Karils Bow
Fury amulet/Glory
Archer's Ring
Black dhide chaps & body
Obsidian Cape
Preferably Barrows gloves
Ranger boots
2-3k Bolt racks (depending on your range level)

Potions
2 or 3 Sara brews
1 or 2 Ranging potions
Fill rest of inventory up with Super restore

I died however, due to lack of experience.

Karil's Top
Verac's Plateskirt
Ranger Boots (or other)
Barrow Gloves
Karil's Crossbow (3000 boltracks for safety)
Amulet of Fury (or other)
Archer Ring (or recoil)

6 Saradomin Brews
3 Range Potions
19 Super Restores

I've gotten to the Jad twice, got hit for my full health before I saw him the first time, and lasted 40 seconds the second time before fumbling the prayers.

I haven't done it(yet), but i'll tell you what I used to get nearly too him.

Neitzinot helm
Dh plate
D legs
Whip and d square
Gnome ammy and lunar ring
Dragon gloves
Rune boots
Skillcape/legends
Karil's top
D chaps
Full C bow
15 Prayer pot(4)s I think and the rest sharks

Lasted till within 10 rounds of Jad I think, few more pots and I coulda got ot him.

I don't think guthan's is needed but its recommended.

Here's what I took last time I did it:

And my stats were this at the time (drank super set just before entering, i probably took this after a few bats hit me because of my lowered prayer):

And here's what I had left after I finished. As you can see I didn't even use up my first crystal bow, the 2nd went untouched until I got to Jad (wanted to use the full bow for jaddy):

I found you should try and get as much ranged bonus as you can, it actually helps a lot in finishing quicker and seems more useful than prayer bonus.

You might want to take a couple more super restores/pray pots than I did because your ranged is a bit lower.
